Meet Natasha Chipiga, a native Russian speaker who focuses her practice on the specialized fields of estate planning and probate administration. She has been at the forefront of serving the Russian community in South Florida for over 15 years. When you need someone who can understand you and who can speak for you in another language, Natasha is the attorney to contact.

Natasha has soared all the way from Moscow, Russia, to your corner of the world. Along with her family, she immigrated to Brooklyn, New York, when she was young. Having started school in the United States, she was the only one in the family who spoke English. She quickly became the spokesperson for the family, navigating the labyrinth of laws in her new country.

Jumping feet first made her savvy about government and sensitive to the confusion these bureaucracies can create in recent immigrants. Having grown up speaking Russian and English, Natasha developed a knack for languages, and quickly taught herself Spanish as well.

While attending New York University, she studied abroad in London, giving her an even greater international perspective. After graduation, she worked at the technology company Earthlink in San Francisco. There she learned to translate tech talk and legalese to plain language.

After a stellar career in the online and legal departments of large corporations such as American Express and MTV/Viacom, Natasha is now enjoying the more personal experience of working directly with clients from a broad range of cultures. Although she never learned how to make borscht, she learned the challenges foreigners and immigrants face in protecting their wealth within the United States.

In 2022, Natasha lost her father after a difficult struggle with pancreatic cancer. She now continues to care for her elderly mother while raising her two young children, Isabela and Sebastian, with her husband and law partner, Fernando Orrego. This experience has taught Natasha the struggles of being part of the “sandwich generation” – caring for aging parents while nurturing young children.

Natasha lives in her favorite city in the world, Miami. She loves the warm energy of Miami’s cultural mix, with its mouthwatering flavors and captivating entertainment. Being multilingual allows her to connect with a broader range of individuals in this sun-kissed melting pot.

During her precious moments of respite, Natasha loves exercise classes, checking out new books at the library with her children, writing articles and legal blogs on varied topics, and exploring new cuisines. An avid seafood lover, she will try anything from the Kingdom Animalia, Phylum Chordata, although octopus, sushi, and caviar are her favorites. In other words, she would love to meet you for sushi and get to know more about you.
